OMG I love peonies! They are surely the most glorious of flowers? I first fell head over heels in love with flowers when I was doing biology O’Level and we started dissecting them. Totally fascinating. But being the 80s and being at a very conservative school they used flowers to teach us about the birds and the bees - as it were. Any guesses on how effective that was? 😂 Anyway, I bought these peonies from the local flower market on Sunday for a fiver! Here they’re mixed in with faux (or as my daughter insists on saying, ‘fake’) hydrangeas. I think it works quite well to mix real with faux, especially as buying real flowers can get so expensive. Anyone else mix real with faux? My other love is coloured glass - I really don’t have enough of it. Oh and check out these amazing radiator covers/shelves that came with the flat I’m renting! .

#myhousethismonth - Day 4 - I have this thing with ..... coloured glass and flowers. .
