It really does feel as though Spring has sprung! It’s so interesting that the weather makes you think about having different colours in your home - I’m now thinking of yellow and pink and totally love this pink sofa against our Chinese Tree wallpaper! Just trying to work out how I can get this in to my own home! The design for this wallpaper actually came from a plaster and ink painting I did of a Robinia Tree at the bottom of my parents’ garden. The leaves were such a beautiful golden colour that even on a dull day, it looked as though the sun was glowing at the end of the garden, which made my mum (and us!) so happy. Then one year all the robinia trees in the area caught a disease and they died, including this one. So I painted the picture so that the sun would always shine, wherever it was. .
