Drawing from her own personal journey, Jea recognizes the obstacles girls face and the transformative power of sport in overcoming them. 

As a volunteer coach at La Rotllana in Badalona, she promotes gender equity by playing and coaching Korfball, a groundbreaking mixed-gender sport. La Rotllana, utilizes football and cultural activities to educate people of all backgrounds who are in situations of social risk and poverty. Together, Jea and La Rotllana are breaking barriers to create equal opportunities through Korfball in Badalona.
