## Caption

“One of my favorite scriptures is found in 3 Nephi 1, when the sign of the Savior’s birth occurs—a day and a night and a day with no darkness. But it’s verse 15 that touches me deeply: ‘For behold, at the going down of the sun there was no darkness.’

“I think in our lives we often feel the sun might be going down on our hopes and dreams as we face difficult trials. But with the birth, life, and atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we never need to feel darkness because His light can bless us.” —President Susan H. Porter
