## Caption

“One of my favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon is Mosiah 24:14. The Savior promises to visit His covenant people in the midst of their afflictions and ‘ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs.’

“Over the last couple years, I have faced a handful of personal heartaches. During those times, it became very clear to me that my Savior had taken the heavy anguish of those moments and carried them for me. He didn’t always take the trial away, but He held the crushing weight off of my back so that I could bear them. At times I remember feeling confused about how I could possibly be so … OK?

“And it was because of HIM.

“At the end of verse it says, ‘This will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter.’

“And so, because I have been on the receiving end of His mercy, love, and grace so many times before, I will indeed stand as a witness of Him forever.” —Lauren
