Thoughts about a duck.

Jeep folks are my kinda folks. I drive an old leaky and rusty Jeep. It ain’t fancy and it wouldn’t survive a tough trail ride but it gets me to work just fine. Usually.

Jeep folks wave to each other. Rock crawlers wave to Mall crawlers. Old dirty Jeeps wave to new shiny ones. Kids wave to the old guys and the old guys wave back.

In recent years rubber ducks started to happen. There’s a story there somewhere. But these days Jeep folks leave these little rubber ducks on each other’s Jeeps.

It doesn’t matter the quality or condition of the Jeep. I like that. A lot.

Today this little duck was left on my handle in Oakwood while I was getting coffee. It rides on the dash now. Until I see a Jeep that needs a duck. Then I’ll leave it there.
