Everyone should know CPR. It's more likely that the life you save with CPR is that of a loved one. 
For a drowning victim it is vital to remember the importance of rescue breathing.  Many instances require Hands-Only, also known as, Chest-Compression-Only CPR but the inclusion of rescue breaths is especially CRITICAL in cases of CHILD DROWNING emergencies, because immediate restoration of oxygen to the child’s brain is critical.
