Last night, $1 MILLION dollars was raised for low-income, first generation college students by 10kdegrees - because of this org, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science and then went on to obtain a degree in recording arts. I'm so honored to come back and contribute my talent.
.
.
This was one of the hardest performances I've done because I knew I had to write something hopeful and inspiring, but I felt neither. I've been so depressed and just fighting through. I've never had to dig so deep. But I did it and that was the greatest standing ovation I've ever received. I received flowers with tears in my eyes.
.
.
I'm going to use that energy to carry me into this upcoming week, which is going to be difficult. Its the one year anniversary of my brothers departure from this world, going on two weeks since I lost my dear friend beatsbyrossi and doctors have said this is the last Mother's Day I'm going to have with my grandma. I'm gonna go make it count.
.
.
If you appreciate the work I do or just want to support me, please help me by clicking the link in my bio and pressing my song before Friday. It really helps me and lifts my spirits.
.
.
Also big shoutout to my homegirl forced2fly for being there to support 💗🙏 The full performance will be on YouTube soon.
