🖤I wrote this when I was hella depressed last year but it comforts me in some kind of twisted way on days like today. It's also the kind of song that's difficult to finish because you gotta be in a certain mental space. I finished it today and so I'll I'll dropping it one of these Friday's. .
.
As an artist, I try to show both sides. There's a part that's happy, grateful, and blessed. And theres a part - deeper underneath - that's broken, tortured, and empty. Some days, these sides fight, but it's not even the battle that hurts - it's the feeling of being in the battle alone... especially in a time where you literally can't reach a hand out. I write these songs for myself, because in those moments I need to hear from somebody that will understand me - but if they help me maybe the can help somebody else too. 🙏
.
.
Anyways, you know I'mma bounce back!! I ain't got all this ass for nothing 🍑
