## Caption

This is a special weekend for all of us — a chance to commemorate our beloved john_prine, who’s birthday will be celebrated on October 10th. I’m proud to be able to honor him again, with the release of a new version I recorded of his song "Angel From Montgomery," included on Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine, Vol. 2 released today on John's label, ohboyrecords.

John, I’m picturing you grinning, getting everything you ever wanted up in Heaven—celebrating with your dear ones long gone.

You will always be close in our hearts.

All my love,
Bonnie

Proceeds from Bonnie's track will support earthjustice, specifically their work in federal courts to bring the protections of the Clean Water Act to the people, community and waters of Appalachia.
