The 2022 Rockies season is now behind us, and it was disappointing, to say the least. Colorado finished last in the NL West with a 68-94 record. Which was 43 games back of the 1st place Dodgers. Despite the bad season, there were a few players who were still exciting to watch.

C.J. Cron - MVP
Cron had an amazing start to the season, hitting 21 home runs and batting .298 prior to the All-Star Break. The 2nd half of the season was a different story. Cron batted .198 and only hit 8 more home runs. Nevertheless, it was still a very good season for a player whom Colorado has gotten a lot of production from.

Daniel Bard - Cy Young
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Bard essentially had the best ERA on the team (Kinley had a 0.75 ERA but only pitched 24 innings) at 1.79. He also had a respectable 34 saves and a WAR of 3.8.

Elehuris Montero - ROY
Montero had a solid year in limited time, playing in only 53 games. But he batted .233 with 6 home runs and 20 RBI. When playing a full season Montero could be a 20 HR 80 RBI player.

Brendan Rodgers - Gold Glove
Brendan Rodgers led the team in defensive WAR at 3.0. He finished the year with a .984 fielding percentage and only made 10 errors. He also had a productive offensive year and an argument could be made for him to be the team MVP over Cron.

Do you think these are fair? Who was your favorite player this year?
