Wilderton, an Oregon-based producer of nonalcoholic spirits, plans to open a tasting room and distillery in Hood River this summer.

The distillery will be the first dedicated nonalcoholic spirits facility in the U.S., according to a press release.

Nonalcoholic (NA) and alcohol-removed beverages have gained popularity in recent years, as the public’s tastes have changed – but also as the quality of NA alternatives has improved.
