It feels amazing to be leading the downhill skateboarding World Rankings this year, since the very first event in Australia to now it has been a huge and epic journey! What was a simple hobby for me 10 years ago now has became my life, my passion, my career and what gets me going!! In two months i'll have the chance to achieve one of my biggest dreams in skateboarding, which is to go back to Brazil to my hometown to defend the #1 spot and fight to be World Champion of 2016!! I'm truly honored to be in this position that I am now and humbled by knowing that it will be a really hard task to achieve, but totally in my reach. Last years champion cacpaixao is only 5 points behind and my skate brother that taught me how to go fast gomeslessa is also very close in third and hungrier than anyone for it!! A few more contenders from the USA and Canada are also in the mix and will make things even more interesting during the last two WCT events in Brazil (Mega Grand Prix and 7 curves)!!!!! Now I have a bit over two months to focus and practice as much as I can to be fully prepared to do my best on the Brazilian hills!! Huge thanks to my family, friends, God and my sponsors for everything up to here and that this should be just the beginning bustinboards radesigns ronintrucks muirskate hondarlongboards vulturhelmets atopicsupplies.
