Health - We take it for granted.
Wellness - We take it for granted.
Life - We take it for granted.
Beauty - We take it for granted.
Youth - we take it for granted.
Love - We take it for granted.

A lot of time for reflection on these things the last week while feeling awful with some sort of weird flare with pain, migraines, nausea and more.

Health and wellness are a huge focus in my life - but I’m sure not perfect at it by any means.

This is what chronic disease looks like now for many people and especially my patients.

You can’t see it in many of us. We hide it. Very well sometimes. We push harder. We keep pushing through it. Until it makes us stop. Physically and mentally.

We look ‘normal’ and ‘well’ but we sometimes aren’t. And that’s ok. We just keep focusing and finding the answers and working on wellness. It’s a journey. Harder for some than others.

Just rest. Just push. Just listen to your body. What does it need right now?

I’m working on this. I’m a constant work in progress. I’m on my journey just like you and all of my patients. Join us if you haven’t.

It’s up and down and sideways. And dark and beautiful. And bliss and painful. Life just is.

Listen to your heart and body. I’m sure trying ❤️ Functional Medicine has and does save my life. Daily. I’m so grateful to be a part of it and all it has to offer us. If you’re suffering and cannot find the answers or just need more, come see us. I know what you feel like. Promise. We can help.

Be well. #sundaysoul #anuwellness #anumd cristynwatkins
