I get asked all the time what order to put products on. Cleanse, toner, serum, lotions, then sunscreen. I don’t use a toner and my serums are in dual chamber with other things so I do a pump of everything in my hand like this and rub together briefly and and put it from hair line to decollate and use the rest on the back of my hands. Nothing goes to waste. Ever. This is a lot of science and research in the palm of my hand and money well spent every day. The exception is retinol. That goes on 1-7 nights per week, depending on your skin, after cleansing and then you wait 30 minutes before you moisturize and use other corrective products. What I use every day: SC Purifying Cleanser (many years), Skin Medica Lytera/HA5/TNS Essential Serum (many years) Liveyon Luma (trying), and Alastin sunscreen (new and loving). Yes - that is 4 collagen enhancing products! Why- because it is the closest thing to the fountain of youth other than stem cells. My skin does not like Retinol which is a shame and I’ve tried them all. Do you NEED all of this? No, but you do need sunscreen and retinol if you can tolerate and a collagen product at a minimum. But, will I look younger in 10 years than my age and counterparts with all these amazing products? YES!!!!!
