What does Carlos Flores hope you take with you when you experience A ChicagoRican Story?

In his own words, Carlos shares what he hopes visitors will see, feel, and understand through his photographs—images that preserve more than five decades of Puerto Rican life, community, struggle, memory, and resistance in Chicago.
These photographs are more than historical documents. They are memories. They are testimony. They are part of a community story that continues to be written.

Come hear Carlos’s story. Come see Chicago through his eyes.
