I was hesitant to post this because #1 I hate being in front of the camera and #2 I wasn’t thrilled with my response about the question “What Is Toy Photography?” For me, it’s a really complex question with answers I have difficulties putting into words. But for this interview I wanted to keep my answer generic and Marvel/Bandai friendly because I didn’t want to make it about ME and MY photography but more about what we did for this project.

But this brings up a really interesting topic that I’m really inspired to write about and hear what you guys have to say. “What IS Toy Photography?” I can easily articulate action figures but why do I have difficulties articulating my words to this same question? When somebody asks me what Toy Photography is, I start to explain it, but end up handing them my phone and showing them pictures haha. For me, it goes way beyond “bringing toys to life” and creating a cool looking image. And I know it does for all of you too.

I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts on this. What is Toy Photography to YOU and why are you so obsessed with it!!!!??? Help me bring my thoughts into words!! SOUND OFF IN THE COMMENTS BELOW and stay tuned for my blog post on this topic. I’d like to add some of your comments to the post as well 🤘🏻
