I loved celebrating our engagement in Punjab. We were surrounded by good people and good food. We are so very fortunate to have such an amazing community of support, not only in Canada but in India as well. It took time and effort to get this fortunate but it was worth it. If you are someone who is struggling to find acceptance from family or friends, don’t lose hope. Time always helps and we found that most of our struggles were just misunderstandings. “Don’t miss out on something amazing just because it could also be difficult.” .
