New York City legends Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, and David Mancuso pioneered a style and sound at unforgettable parties held at iconic venues like Paradise Garage and The Loft. Their influence inspired a generation of DJs and producers who would go on to create house music. As a young DJ fascinated with NY nightlife, their work heavily influenced me early in my career.
This Saturday, May 4th, my friend kenwaylive and I are thrilled to pay homage to those roots by throwing a party dedicated to House music its many sub-genres. Join us at the legendary Grandmaster Recorders in Hollywood from 10pm-2am as we celebrate the sounds that have shaped dance music culture for decades
Let’s come together, dance, and honor its incredible legacy. This night is about connecting with our community and keeping the spirit of those iconic parties alive. See you on the dance floor! Above is legendary dancer and New York icon Marjory Smarth 🕊️
