A federal jury in Las Vegas has convicted five men - Kristopher Dallmann, Douglas Courson, Felipe Garcia, Jared Jaurequi, and Peter Huber - for operating one of the largest unauthorized streaming services in the United States, Jetflicks.

The service generated millions in subscription revenue by illegally downloading and hosting hundreds of thousands of TV episodes. Their catalog had more content than Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon combined.

Using advanced software to source pirated content, the group distributed these shows to tens of thousands of subscribers. This operation caused substantial financial damage to TV program copyright owners.

Dallmann faces up to 48 years in prison, while Courson, Garcia, Jaurequi, and Huber each face up to five years. The sentences will be determined by a federal district court judge.

The case was investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by attorneys from the Criminal Division’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section and the District of Nevada.
