This is Red Rock Canyon. And the near by Blue Diamond Hill is the future site of 3,500 homes.

After nearly two decades of legal battles, Clark County has approved an $80 million settlement, paving the way for this controversial development.

The new community will feature amenities like small shops and a Starbucks.

But there’s more to this story.

This location only has two entrances. Funneling all traffic through these narrow access points will be a challenge.

The 3,500 homes isn’t just about housing; it’s about the strain on our already limited water resources and the drastic change in traffic patterns.

Imagine this quiet, scenic road, now bustling with the constant flow of residents, their friends, Amazon deliveries, post office trucks, landscapers, delivery trucks to the small shops, employees, police, ambulances, fire trucks, and more.

The serene drive you once knew? Forget it.

This road will transform into a congested artery, struggling to accommodate the influx.

Red Rock Canyon will no longer be the same.

The tranquility, the natural beauty, the wildlife, and the quiet roads will soon be overshadowed by greed.

So, enjoy it while you can. Because soon, this cherished landscape will be forever changed.
