## Caption

In April, Nevada casinos experienced a significant win of $1.24 billion, marking their best April ever, despite Las Vegas Strip casinos seeing their lowest monthly performance over the past� year with $666 million.

This represented a 6.95% statewide increase and a 6.62% increase on the Strip compared to April 2023.

Downtown Las Vegas also saw an 11.1% rise due to strong slot machine and sports book performances.

The Durango Casino & Resort contributed positively to the locals' gaming win.

Despite slow months historically in April and August, November and December have seen boosts from major events.

Nevada collected over $70,273,837 million in percentage fees so far in May, a 4.18% increase from April's taxable revenues.
