The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced that Interstate 11 (I-11), the newest interstate in the U.S., will extend from the U.S.-Mexico border to Canada.

According to NDOT spokesperson Justin Hopkins, 515 and U.S. 95 will become part of I-11.

n Nevada, I-11 begins at the Pat Tillman Bridge at Hoover Dam, bypasses Boulder City, and intersects with the 215 in Henderson where U.S. 95 runs.

The interstate will then pass the Spaghetti Bowl and reach the Kyle Canyon Road area. Eventually, it will extend to Reno and continue to Canada.

Officials have highlighted that the I-11 initiative will boost economic growth and enhance state tourism.

Additional I-11 signs will be installed on side streets over the next few months, accompanied by a significant public information campaign in the fall.
