making a homemade SWEET POTATO PIE with MEMAMA! instructions and ingredients⬇️⬇️ Filling:  2 cups peeled cooked sweet potatoes 1/2 cup sugar  1/2 cup brown sugar  1/4 cup melted butter 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract  1/4 teaspoon salt  1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon  1/2 teaspoon ground ginger  A pinch of nutmeg  1 cup milk  Crust:  2 cups gingersnap cookies (ground up) 1/2 cup walnuts (ground up) 1/3 cup melted butter  Preheat oven to 350 degrees  Make crust and press into pie dish, then pop into oven for about 5 minutes.  Make your filling and mix 2-3 minutes until well blended. Poor into your pie crust and bake for 45-55 minutes or until a knife comes out clean from the center.
