## Caption

Pete Dye is today’s guest on the #EALpod - our discussion from 7 years ago becomes more poignant the more I learn about golf. He speaks a lot of his wife Alice, who was the better golfer of the two (winner of three USGA Championships) and influenced Pete in his design continually. She repeatedly advocated for the novice and female golfer, suggesting alternate tee boxes and different ways of looking at Pete’s designs. A day late, but here’s to Alice for making an indelible impression on the game. #internationalwomensday
