I started following matt_ginella on Instagram 5 or 6 yrs ago after a friend showed me his account, going to all these amazing golf places. The first pic was at this crazy spot called Bandon Dunes in Oregon, it was the first I'd heard of it. I remember scrolling ever so deep in his feed, thinking, "what a lucky person", "wow cool he gets paid to do what I would do for free", "he's so f&$ing lucky" "how did he get this f$@&ing job?", "Life is so unfair how is he so lucky?", "why can't I go back to the womb and live my life as him instead of me?", "can you even do that?", "Honestly I don't think so"... I digress... Ahem.. Well Matt, I am so honored to be in your company. I am humbled to hear that I now have that same job (kinda) that you have, which I lusted after years ago. I couldn't say "how" it happened, I did not "do" anything except say yes and wake up early. I stuck my hand out and believed that someone, eventually, would shake it and give me a small hint of what to do next. And that's exactly what happened. Thank you.
