Anxiety is common when you’re taking your first few clients! Here are 4 tips to help alleviate those butterflies in your stomach & help you deliver the best lash set of your client’s dreams 🧚🏻‍♀️

𝟏. 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐭 - This gives you a heads up as to what set & style you’ll be doing, what lashes you’ll need, & get some lash maps handy.

this leads us to number 2: 

𝟐. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬! - Prep your lash tools before clients arrive. Take out the lengths / curls / diameters that you know you’ll need for the set & style! Disinfect tweezers & get your tapes ready. This preparation helps saves so much time upfront & allows you to get off on a smooth start 🤌🏻 (this step is actually SO important bc .. imagine the stress & anxiety of not finding the lashes you need and your client’s ready & taped up 😵‍💫)

𝟑. 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐌𝐀𝐏!! We can’t stress this enough. Lash mapping is sooo important in achieving a symmetrical set that actually comes out looking like the reference photo 👏🏻 after you’ve sectioned out the lash map & written down the lengths, there’s no more thinking required the rest of the session. You just lash. This makes for a calming & smooth lash appointment for both you and your client 😌

𝟒. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 & 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐬 !  If you didn’t take photos, did it reaaaally happen 😉 Photos & videos matter so much when building up your lash artistry. If you don’t have much time, just snap a few shots real fast and you can select the best ones later when clients go home. Photos & videos also are confidence boosters. Whenever you feel imposter syndrome creeping up, it’s nice to look back and see these lash sets you slayed 🔥
