💰 Let’s talk VAT & Financial Confidence 💪

At this month’s Crouch End skills workshop, we were joined by the brilliant Claire, MOB member and founder of wearethreesixnine Bookkeeping, who led an inspiring session on financial confidence for small businesses.

One of the biggest conversations of the night? 👇
👉 The VAT threshold — and how it can feel like a real turning point for small business owners.

For many, reaching that £90k mark isn’t just a number — it’s an emotional and practical challenge that can bring up big questions about pricing, growth, and sustainability.

Claire helped us unpack what it really means, how different business models are affected, and why understanding your numbers early can make those decisions a little less overwhelming. It’s not about brushing off the fear — it’s about replacing it with clarity and confidence.

✨ Most of us start our businesses from passion — not spreadsheets. But financial confidence is a skill, and it’s one that can empower you to grow on your own terms.

If you missed this one, don’t worry — our next Crouch End meetup is our Christmas Special Mum Market + Drinks! (DM to get involved!)🎄🥂
🗓 Wednesday Evening 20 November
Come shop, connect and celebrate with fellow MOB. members — it’s going to be a good one!

A huge shout out to the epic Crouch End team who make all this possible:
Eda - founder of the beaut kidsnjoycafe where we host our events
Emma - founder of 2 amazing businesses mini.garms.gang and the.playground.project
Claire - The MOB’s resident Bookkeeper, MOB member and founder of wearethreesixnine

And thank you to all the amazing mums who came down and are ready to take control of their business finances 💪🚀
