Real confidence doesn’t come from pretending - it comes from within.

September’s Crouch End mumswhobuild Meet-Up was all about How to build Confidence, hosted by Confidence Alchemist charlotteworthcoaching 

Charlotte reminded us that confidence comes from three parts:

🔹 Preparation – like an athlete before the big event.
🔹 Mindset – believing in yourself before you walk in the room.
🔹 Felt sense – carrying yourself in a way that feels grounded, light + authentically YOU.

Charlotte’s golden insight?
👉 We’ve all felt confident before - maybe playing sport, immersed in a hobby, or laughing with your kids. In those moments you weren’t overthinking, you were in the flow. The trick is learning how to tap back into those feelings when you need them most.

A few simple tips she shared:
1️⃣ Notice the signs of self-doubt in your body (tense jaw, tight shoulders, knot in your stomach).
2️⃣ Pause + breathe — soften, steady, reset.
3️⃣ Shift from “triggered you” ➝ “fabulous you.” Stand tall, look ahead, step into the most confident version of yourself.
