Dutch zen monk Paul Loomans calls these “gnawing rats” - those tiny annoyances that create way more stress than they deserve.

Money habits are FULL of them.

🐀 The classic gnawing rats 🐀 
• Never checking your bank balance (but constantly worrying about it)
• That subscription you forgot to cancel... 6 months ago
• Receipts stuffed in your bag instead of being tracked
• Avoiding opening bills until they’re overdue
• Not knowing where your money actually goes each month

But relax, these aren’t big financial disasters. They’re small, FIXABLE things that create disproportionate mental noise.

Mum, we’re already juggling a million things. The last thing we need is financial admin stress gnawing away in the background while we’re trying to build our businesses, our careers and raise our kids.
