Hey new followers – let’s get to know each other! 👋

I’m Georgie, Co-founder of Mums Who Build, mum of two, and SEND parent to my eldest, Freddie, who has Russell Silver Syndrome and is autistic. Since becoming a mum, I haven’t been able to return to a regular career, and with Freddie’s future independence uncertain, building financial security for my family has become more important than ever.

Before kids, I worked in marketing at Burberry, and I’ve always loved food and art (though, like many mums, I rarely find time for it these days—very jealous of Co-founder Bex and the amazing life drawing work she’s doing on mat-leave rn - check her out bctaylorart !). 

Now, at 38, I’m (rapidly!) heading towards the big 4-0 I’m feeling more driven than ever to build something meaningful.

That’s why I Co-founded Mums Who Build—a space for women navigating motherhood, business, and career growth. Financial security is at the heart of our mission because we know the motherhood penalty is real, and we want to minimise the impact of it and help close the wealth gap 🚀

So whether you’re growing a business, returning to work, or just figuring out your next step, this community is here to support and empower you.
