I thought it was about time I introduced myself and The MOB, to all our lovely new followers 👋 …

Hi I’m Georgie, mum to two boys and SEND parent to my eldest Freddie who has a rare genetic condition called Russell Syndrome and is autistic. 

When I’m not battling the SEND system fighting for Freddie’s basic everyday rights 🤯 community and connection are my thing. Bringing people together, joining the dots, gives me so much joy.

That’s why, along with my co-founder Bex, we are building The MOB (MUMS WHO BUILD) - an empowering network for mums building businesses, careers, life - supporting them to build the futures they want in motherhood. 

Our mission is to close the wealth gap between men and women by enabling mums to build more financially secure futures. We do this primarily through:

🚀 Financial Fitness & education: The MOB enables mums to build healthy money habits, mindset and confidence that will set them up for the long-term. 

🚀 Wellbeing - financial stress is the number one driver of mental health challenges; and as mums we often unintentionally deprioritise ourselves. So staying on top of our health is a top priority for mobsters. The MOB provides the opportunities for mums to build themselves mentally and physically - because let’s face it, we can’t pour from an empty cup.

🚀 Connection - being mums unites us on a level like nothing else so having a professional and supportive network around you that gets you, and who will support and champion you through your building journey, is POWERFUL (plus the opportunities are endless and it’s loads more fun doing it together). 

What sets us apart from other mum groups? We’re future-proofing. Building step by step. 

So being a mobster is so much more than just a community, it’s an attitude, a lifestyle, it’s a team creating positive change. 💪
