Today was powerful 💪

We used our weekly hangout to focus on finance this week in the first (of many more to come) Finance Surgery where our Co-founder BC @bctaylor_co_uk (management consultant, business owner, accountant and personal finance-failure expert 😉) together with Mobster & Finance Coach @financial.mum @evelin_bonfim led the Q&A session around personal and business finance for mothers.

So many shared their courage through vulnerability about fears & issues faced, and all gave their ideas to tackle the topics raised.

We could not be happier with the first one as everyone shared great information that will help one another in ways to increase financial security. This is The MOB in a bottle!

We covered topics including;
🤑 Pensions
🤑 ISA’s
🤑 Budgeting
🤑 Tools to help like google sheet templates and @monzo tools to analyse
🤑 The emotional impacts of shifting salaries in parenthood
🤑 Going back to school
🤑 Starting businesses FOR BOTH SIDES OF THE PARTNERSHIP, and
🤑 The support available to handle these topics

The key messages that came through was the important of being a team with your partner on the topic of money, communicating regularly about it, and the need to protect yourself with knowledge about money matters.

Many of the topics discussed are on our Build Wealth Road Map (see bio for free download). We will be adding more information to the document as we find it so look out for updates.

Stay tuned for more finance events and services coming soon from The MOB and our community.

The MOB is a community for brave people whom want change. We are on a mission to close the wealth gap, and we do that by helping Mobsters build more FREEDOM, OPPORTUNITIES and EQUITY through COMMUNITY, PARTNERSHIPS, LOCAL EVENTS & DIGITAL RESOURCES.
