Thank you so much to @katielittlewing for a brilliant #mondaymotivation #INSTALIVE!

Katie is an amazing mum of three children and is building two incredible businesses: @venusandthecat_uk and @eastlondonbabyco 🤩👏 What a mobster!

She will be at our event this Wednesday selling her beautiful products from both businesses with a special event discount! There will also be the opportunity to win the stunning Venus & the Cat vase which we had a sneak peek of during this live, as part of the event prize draw on the night 🙌 (I so want to win that!)

We spoke about:

✅what motivated Katie to build? After having her first child, Katie wanted to go back to her career in advertising but there was no flexible working opportunity available which meant she had to re think her career entirely. @eastlondonbabyco was born 💪 For @venusandthecat_uk it was Covid lockdown that was the inspiration and motivation!

✅ Katie’s top tip to keep motivated is surround yourself with likeminded company. Coming to the MOB weekly hangouts and being able to meet other mobsters whilst your kids can still have fun was great to keep the motivation and inspiration going over the summer hols!

✅ Katie highly recommends reading Hype Yourself by Lucy Werner if you’re also looking to build a business. It helped her get Venus & the Cat into the Telegraph Christmas Wish List!

✅The importance of getting great quality images of your products - Katie credits @jaimetung for this! This is essential not only for social media but for when selling into retailers and press.

✅ thank you @e17baby for the @eastlondonbabyco necklace shout-out, so great to hear your second is now getting to enjoy it!

#BUILDMOTIVATION every Monday with our new #INSTALIVE where G get’s to talk with incredible members of our MOB community, wherever they are in the world!

Connect with members of our incredible community who maybe you wouldn’t ordinarily have come across. Go and give Katie and her amazing businesses a follow now 🙌 and shop her collection at our event on Wednesday, a few tickets are still available.
