On Saturdays we take a look at amazing MOBSTERS who inspire us and throw one in particular under the spotlight.

Today, given the extraordinary success of her latest movie, Barbie this week, the MOBSTER crown deservedly goes to Director Greta Gerwig. 👏

According to Forbes, Barbie broke the record for the biggest opening weekend for a female director, was the biggest domestic opening ever for a non-superhero film or sequel, and is on pace to be the fastest female-targeted movie to hit the $300 million mark—Beauty and the Beast did it in 10 days back in 2017. Wow 🤩 But this is just her most recent success. Gerwig has been making waves in the male-dominant film industry for some time now.

She is also a mum. And gave birth to her second child only earlier this year.

Gerwig is a total MOBSTER 💪

But what is a MOBSTER? We keep saying it don’t we, but we haven’t really explained what we mean by it. To us a MOBSTER is a brave mother who is building something incredible for herself, her career or business and who is a proud mum and role model to her children and family.

Check out our post to see what makes Gerwig a MOBSTER.
