WEALTHY MOBSTERS ARE GOING TO BE MADE HERE 🤑

There still remains legacy thoughts of women being better suited to supportive roles rather than co-pilots, or driving the ships of commercialism, and striving for roles that provide significant financial security, otherwise the motherhood penalty would not exist.

Having the desire to be a wealthy mum does not mean it comes at the expense of others. It means there is a much bigger capability to care for others, including themselves.

The wealth gap in the UK is 30% at retirement, so for every £1 a man has, a woman has 70p, and women live longer than men so it declines even further.

For a mum to be able to build wealth, she needs a couple of things.

1. The FREEDOM to create, learn, work and develop.
2. The OPPORTUNITIES to share and develop her work.
3. And EQUITY to be realised in different forms of value eg recognition and realised monetary upside.

But there's no such thing as a free lunch, and these things come at a cost. 

The costs include, but are not limited to; inherited ideas of what a mother should be, the thoughts that parenting should be 50/50 at all times (it is not, it flexes at all times), the privileges for only those who have mostly benefitted from them up until now, and a traditional work week, change takes a lot of energy so being resourceful is key.
