According to PWC's research, The Motherhood Penalty is the most significant driver of the gender pay gap at 60%.

And women are being hit harder by the rising cost of living and increasing cost of childcare, and don't even get us started on 'The Pink Tax' (Chat GPT tells it like it is if you don't know).

When B and I met, we sparked from wanting to create something that would inspire and empower mums to become more financially secure and chip away at eliminating this thing called the ‘Motherhood Penalty’, and do it by creating strong bonds, and lifting mums up.

So The MOB was born.

We believe that by providing access to resources, education and support on business ideas and issues, networks, and navigating careers, we can enable mums to reach a higher level of personal financial security, which could make them and their families even happier from increased freedom, opportunities and equity.

So this is our contribution to the beginning of the end for The Motherhood Penalty.

If we make it sound simple, we know it’s not. But we are mums and we are building humans - there's not many things in life harder than that so we know we can have a good go at this!

If you are a hard-nut mum, one in training, or one who is not sure how strong they are yet, you are in The MOB already, so come get involved! We need your brains and bodies, we won't be able to change the future without you.
