Hi, Friends! I am back with my first new bookish pie since the beginning of October, and it feels so good to be back! There was also no better book to help me get back in the game than This Time Next Year by sophie_cousens . I loved this book and the pie baker in Minnie definitely helped to inspire me to start creating more of my own pies as soon as possible!✨

This Time Next Year is the story of Minnie and Quinn, both born minutes apart on January 1st, and both destined to live very different lives. Throughout Minnie’s life she had heard her birth story through a tainted lens and truly believed that Quinn had not only taken her name (she was supposed to be Quinn) but also the luck she was due in life. But as fate manages to bring them together once again, and as Minnie really gets to know the man she has resented her whole life, she just might realize that outward appearances aren’t always what they seem.✨

I LOVED Minnie and Quinn’s story with all of my heart. I loved the flashbacks to past New Year’s Eve’s and the ways their stories were wound together in such beautiful ways. I also found the character development between Minnie & her parents, and especially Minnie’s Mom and Quinn’s Mom to be so beautifully done.✨

This is exactly the kind of story I love to read at this time of year: cozy, funny, heartwarming, and a story that pulls at your heartstrings in so many ways. I loved the layers woven throughout this journey and I did not want this story to end!✨

If you love a sweet and captivating romance, this is the perfect book to read this week with New Year’s Eve approaching! Thank you to my wonderful friends at gmabookclub for sending me this book!✨

{ Side note: in the book Minnie makes pies for people in need, and since I first started to make pies that has been my dream. I loved seeing Minnie actually bring my dream to life in this story, and it definitely made an already wonderful reading experience even more special.}✨
