✨BOOK REVIEW✨
{ Thank you flatiron_books (partner) for gifting me with this book! }
.
Oh, Oona, how I love you! Y’all. This book was such an enjoyable reading experience. I always say that reading a good book feels like going on a fun ride: you’re captivated right away and you never want it to end. And that’s exactly how I felt about Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore.✨
.
Oona Out of Order is the story of a woman who leaps through different years of her life, and totally out of order. (So, she could be turning 19, but be living as her 51 year old self, and so on.) I was worried at first that I’d get too wrapped up in the “how & why” of the time travel, but let me tell you...you just don’t worry about that once you’re in this captivating story.✨
.
Oona is so well written and poignant, and I was deeply moved by Oona’s journey and the lessons she learned along the way. This story is a beautiful reminder to cherish those little moments in life and the people you love, as well as the wisdom & strength that can develop from the hardships that we face.✨
.
I absolutely loved this story, and I know it will stay with me for a long time. I still find myself thinking, “Oh! I need to get back to Oona to find out what she’s up to now...” It’s just truly a story that you never want to end.✨
.
Also, this is random, but Oona’s middle name is Stephanie Lynn (after Stevie Nicks) and my name is also Stephanie Lynne. So, that was kind of fun.😘✨
.
Oona Out of Order released today, and I highly recommend that everyone pick up a copy. Also, the audiobook is absolutely wonderful! { Thank you, librofm } ❤️
5/5 ✨
