The Evian Championship began today at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France where Minjee Lee is seeking to defend her title. She won the US Women's Open last month but faces stiff competition for another major from the likes of Jennifer Kupcho, Ko Jin-young and Nelly Korda. Canadian Brooke Henderson is the early pace-setter during the first round, carding a 64, seven under par.
