## Caption

The last few months have been transformative for Scottie Scheffler.

In February, he didn't have a PGA Tour victory to his name. Now, he is a Masters champion and world No. 1.

Scheffler came into Augusta as one of the favorites, where he notably maintained an even keel while others crumbled around him – despite experiencing a flurry of nerves beforehand. "The human condition is to make things bigger than they really are. And years from now, I would say people may not remember me as a champion, and that's fine. But in the moment, you think it's a lot bigger deal than it really is.”
