They've already had a season they'll never forget but coolerastrandhill stand on the precipice of history over the next 72 hours.

On Saturday their Ladies team play Mungret St Paul's from Limerick in the All Ireland Junior semi-final. The team reached, and won, their first ever provincial title in October.

Twenty four hours later their men's side take the field in a first ever Connacht Club Senior Final against Roscommon champs Padraig Pearses'.

It's a simply extraordinary achievement for the club (who won a Sligo SHC in 2018 as well) who could end the weekend as historic double champions with one team already in an All Ireland final.
