Rumours of Connacht Rugby playing in Castlebar have long been in the air, but it appears that the possibility will become a reality in 2025.

The mayofootballpodcast has confirmed that Connacht approached #MayoGAA and the Mayo Co Board have "given the green light" for a game to take place, with Connacht's clash with Munster on the weekend of March 28th/29th (Round 14 of the #URC ) most likely to be the fixture.
