SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP team rider #79 Ai Ogura has withdrawn from the Grand Prix of San Marino and will miss a second consecutive race weekend, after a medical assessment in Barcelona late on Tuesday confirmed his injured left thumb has not healed enough for him to ride.

He will remain in Barcelona, focusing on efforts to regain fitness ahead of the Grand Prix of Austria, one week away.

The SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP team will only run with the #25 - Raul Fernandez for this weekend.

We wish Ai a speedy recovery.
