We’re on the hunt for the best family friendly ski & snowboard resorts and wanted to share our favorite visits from last season along with a few things we liked most about each resort! (In no particular order) Schweitzer, Idaho: 1. Intimate modern village and accommodations. 2. Village side chairlift dedicated to beginner terrain was so great to have just steps from our accommodations.  3. No crowds. It’s no small trek to Northern Idaho but those who make it are rewarded at this ‘hidden gem’ that also happens to be the largest ski resort in WA/ID. @Keystone Resort, Colorado: 1. Extensive base village with many food and lodging options  2. A variety of on-site activities ensure there’s something for everyone, even if you don’t ski/snowboard! including mountain top tubing, huge ice castle, ice skating, and more! 3. Great night skiing/riding from the summit including a 3.5 mile illuminated trail! Crystal Mountain, Washington:  1. Incredible Views over Washington including the two highest volcanos of Mt Adams and Mt Rainier. 2. Large mid-mountain Campbell Basin lodge is a great basecamp for families and is situated above the best family friendly terrain around the Forest Queen lift. 3. Brand new upcoming base area design and construction will be a great addition to Washington’s largest Ski resort.  @Timberline Lodge, Oregon: 1. Longest continuous vertical in the United States 4540’  2. Historic ski-in, ski-out lodge located in the middle of everything is an incredibly place to call home for a few nights. 3. Longest ski season in the country allowing you to ski/ride into August (you can snowboard and mountain bike in the same day in July and August!)
