Tried something new for Round One..... Racing in the rain😅

The No. 5 started third just as the rain began to fall at @charlottemotorspeedway. A gear issue on the initial start sent him back to 11th. After a slight delay due to a heavier band of rain, we got back on track and had quite the time figuring out how to navigate the wet track. But Tryson figured it out enough to get around a few cars and cross the line in 7th.

The good news is, the 5 car has some speed and confidence. We feel pretty good about the piece we’re bringing to the track tonight for Round Two. Catch the green flag at 6pm ET live on @floracing.

A big shoutout and thank you to everyone at @racedrivenperformance, @maccdoorsystems, @lakenorrischalets, @sagwraps, and ATA for making this year’s shootout possible!
