👋 Marhaban from Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪

I'm partnering up with visitabudhabi during my week long stay here and so far, I couldn't have asked for a better time! There's so much to see, I've met some of the nicest people, and I'm continuously learning about the history and culture. As a last minute, unexpected solo trip, I've felt nothing but open arms and hospitality!

Was I nervous that I was traveling alone? Not necessarily. So far, it's been a pretty solo travel friendly place and everyone has been super nice! I'm constantly updating friends & family back at home and if you're planning on visiting, here's a couple of things to note to transport you here as smoothly as possible:

• You MUST have a negative PCR test at least 72 hours before your departure. My results didn't come in time on time and I had to wait 5 hours to get a test at the airport. The UAE didn't accept Rapid PCR tests unless from the airport.
• Fill out the form on the Al Hosn App confirming proof of ID, full vaccination, and negative PCR test results. You will receive a QR code once your application has been verified & approved.
• Uber + Careem are popular taxi apps here. Note that if you're trying to use your Amex Uber credits here, the credits don't transfer.
• Ladies, bring a scarf during your visit because many popular attraction spots require wearing one at all times.
