I'm writing this, fully aware and understanding of how privileged the last months have been for me. The fact that I can tell someone that my job is to travel is absolutely absurd to me. But I had to work my absolute butt off to get to this point. The fact that I can tell someone that I'm casually going to Iceland on Wednesday to capture and provide content for others is not normal.

The end goal seems glamorous but what isn't seen is every single tear and sacrifice that got me to this point. I've deteriorated my health, lost so many friends, and even lost myself throughout the process. Earlier this week, I went to see a specialist because I was having muscle issues and fainted in front of my mom minutes into my treatment. My mom! The last person I ever want seeing me in that state. That was the closest thing I've ever felt to death — not standing on the edge of a cliff. I was told that although I look healthy on the outside, I have so many internal health issues on the inside.

People have confronted me telling me they can't support what I do. People have ghosted me for reasons I'm not even sure of, but I think I can assume why. Yes, the world tells you to chase after your dreams but you see why it's so unrealistic for every dream to be met? To whoever is reading this, the one piece of advice that I can share is that if you are attempting to convert your dreams to reality, that it's possible. It's possible, but understand that it's not going to be easy. Understand that you will have to make sacrifices no matter what, but please feed yourself good energy, eat well, and always work on bettering yourself. Happy travels, y'all 💘
