【Oaxacan Hospitality】
When I first started solo traveling in Oaxaca, I didn't know a single soul in the city. To be quite frank, I didn't even know Oaxaca existed until _alexqian asked me to go. So when I got there, I was ready to explore the city and shoot literally everything - I shot almost every sunrise + sunset for two weeks straight. And if it wasn't for social media, my time in Oaxaca would've been extremely different.

Eli from cardenaloaxaca reached out to me asking if I wanted to do a photoshoot at his new venue in Oaxaca. Photoshoot? I've never done a legitimate photoshoot in my entire life. Yes, I shoot with my friends for fun and when we travel, but I've never had a planned photoshoot in my life! It was different, so I agreed.

When I arrived at the venue, I had a basket of food + drinks ready for me, 3 amazing photographers with ALL their equipment planning the set, a makeup artist who did my whole face, a boutique company who custom made me flowers, and a fashion designer who hand designed 2 beautiful dresses for me. Like, what?!

I was SO SOO touched by all their hospitality and desire to do ALL THAT for me for a photoshoot. Wow! I felt so loved and touched by ALL their giving hearts and hospitality shown me within my first week in Oaxaca.
