【✌️ Out Oaxaca】
Today officially marks my one month in Oaxaca. Wow, it’s been a wild wild ride. I booked a one way back to California and I'm leaving tomorrow! This decision was so last minute, but there's a lot to take care of before I start traveling indefinitely again.

During my time here in Oaxaca, I've been asked what my favorite thing to do has been - the food, people, culture? Of course, those are all included. But Oaxaca is so special to me because it's a place where I was finally able to 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭. Throughout all of 2021, I was an emotional wreck. I kept on constantly running away from my problems, leading me to rely on so many people. Being homeless for months, I relied on so many people who provided a roof over my head + emotional security. And to give back, I naturally started taking care of everyone whose ever invited me into their lives that through this, I forgot to take care of MY personal sanity.

But the moment I got alone time in Oaxaca, I started taking car of myself. I've learned more about self love than I had ever known. I've discovered things that bothered me and things that made me feel amazing. I've learned more about myself than I ever could've while being reliant on others back in the states. This detox was crucial as I can confidently admit that I put an end to my lost, soul searching adventures.

Anything can happen, but I do plan on coming back to Oaxaca soon. There's still a couple of things I'd like to do in Oaxaca before hopping onto my next destination, but with intention. And to those whose been supporting my journey from the beginning, middle or the end, your support continues to keep me going. Happy travels y'all 💘
